For the past several weeks our pastors have been preaching about Unwrapping Your Spiritual Gifts and LoveDare. Both of these sermon series have invited us to discern how God is calling us to grow in our relationship with Jesus and our service to Him.
So will you take the LoveDare? Will you dare to be intentional about discerning how God is calling you to grow in your love for Him and others? Will you dare to use that discernment to change the way you live? If yes, please follow the steps below to develop your own LoveDare Growth Plan.
WORKSHEETInstructions:
- Read through the definitions of the Essentials for Growth and take time to look at the Bible verses that are referenced with each one.
- Use an additional notebook or journal to prayerfully and carefully answer each question to help assess where you are in each of these areas. (You can also download a more “roomy” version of this worksheet and work directly from that.)
- After answering the questions about where you are, take some time to brainstorm ideas of how you might grow in each of these areas. Remember, at this point these are simply ideas for you to process in the coming weeks.
- Start praying about which areas God is calling you to grow in this year and how.
- IMPORTANT: Take time to talk in your cove group, family, or other circle of accountability about what you are thinking about and hearing from God.
- On April 5, come prepared to finalize an actual plan of spiritual growth.
