They are a warm, welcoming group and enjoy fellowship with each other and with the rest of our Chapel Hill family. We invite you to come to any of the gatherings listed below and give them a try. Cornerstones Are you 55 or older? Cornerstones is a fellowship group that meets at Chapel Hill the second Monday of each month at 6pm. We gather for an informal dinner ($7), followed by an interesting program like a music performance, a guest speaker, or a glittering special event. Contact Barb Wentlandt at 853.0231 with questions.
Upbeats! The Upbeats! offer bi-monthly events for those who enjoy day trips or overnight adventures. Prices vary according to the activity. For information about future events, contact Eric Peavy at 853.3825. Caregivers' Support Group Do you have a major responsibility of providing care for a friend or member of your family? Even caring for someone in a nursing home can be very stressful. Getting together with others who are going through the same experience can help to lighten this load. Good Grief The loss of a loved one can be a devastating experience. If you need help or just a friend during this difficult time, Good Grief support group is available. The group meets the second Tuesday of each month. Call Ray and Patti Payne, 851.7446.
Share and Care Single senior women meet the first Tuesday of the month for Christian fellowship and to sample the menus of many local restaurants.
