What is Pew Power?
Pew Power is the people of God, trained and encouraged to use their spiritual gifts to accomplish God’s mission. Pew Power isn’t just about teams that help set up or clean up, although that’s part of it. But in a deeper way, Pew Power is identifying people who have a passion to serve, a passion to build, a passion to create beauty, a passion to teach, to counsel, to comfort…and it's about raising up leaders to train and encourage and launch those passions!
Pew Power is the church without walls—where all members play their parts in the mission of God by reaching out to others in their neighborhoods, schools, workplaces and homes with the love, compassion and justice of Jesus Christ.

Members who have an idea for ministry they would like to explore are invited to contact the pastor or staff person who leads in that area. Typically new ideas bubble up most effectively at Chapel Hill through program and outreach ministries. So for example, if you are interested in Prison Ministry you would contact the Director of Missions. For a directory of staff, please check "contact us" on the navigation bar to the left. If you are not sure whom to contact, or have questions about our process, please contact Shari Monson.
Members interested in seeing Chapel Hill work with existing ministries—such as Young Life, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Salvation Army, or similar organizations—are invited to contact the Missions Steward Council. This group meets quarterly to guide the process for new ministry affiliation.
