Sunday Morning Worship Service Times - 8:15, 9:30 & 10:57am
Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study Pastor Jim Mead, Gathering Place beginning January 10, 2010 John’s Jesus (part 2): Up and Away! taught by Pastor Jim Mead January is a great time to start this calss. Since fall, we’ve been with Jesus out in the world being the One and Only Son of the Father. In the New Year we’ll be with Jesus in the Upper Room for disciplemaking as he gets his followers ready to receive his mission; then we’ll go with him to the cross where he will be glorified. Sometimes someone says, “This changes everything.” Jesus changes everything: who we are, what the cosmos is, how we live, and what our detiny is meant to be. Whether you’ve attended regularly or you are new, all are welcome.

Gathering Place Classes 6:30-8:15pm | Dinner 5-6:15pm Wednesday Night Life: The Nehemiah Project February 3—March 24 (not Feb. 17)
Wednesday Night Life begins with a family friendly dinner in the Gathering Place from 5-6:15pm. Classes start at 6:30 and conclude at 8:15. Programs for children, childcare for little ones, Extreme for Middle School students, and Youth Confirmation for High School students run at the same time.
Beginning February 7 and running for 8 Wednesdays, the Nehemiah Project will be a groundbreaking ministry for both Men’s and Women’s Life. Nehemiah is one of the finest text books on leadership and influence ever written. Pastor Mark will lead us in a study of this book that will be very interactive in nature. Men’s and women’s small groups will then meet to discuss central leadership principles and to encourage each other in their personal application. These “Life Groups” will be central to the Nehemiah Project. The Life Group leaders (known as the “Barnabas” for men and the “Lydia” for women) will receive ongoing training. When the class ends, the Project is only half over. For five more weeks, the groups will continue to meet off-site to continue the study and to deepen the Life Group commitment and experience.

- High School Confirmation: One of the ways we partner with families in the spiritual development of students is confirmation. It is strongly encouraged for all freshmen but is open to any high school student. Confirmation prepares students to confirm and publicly declare their own faith in Christ and to become members at Chapel Hill. We’ll teach some of the very basics of our faith, but we’ll also be asking students to engage these truths in a new andchallenging ways. Contact: Kirsten at 853.0275.
- Extreme Youth Group for Middle School (meets off site in summer. Contact DJ at 851.0217.)
