Out in the Jungle
Here’s my highlight:
One of the highlights for me from the last few days was joining in the celebration and events surrounding the dedication of the Latongku Health Center. It was incredible to see the Lord bring things that were once far fetched visions to reality. Allan Eubank was called to the Talakone in the 1960’s. It’s only been in recent years that people from the village have come forward to be baptized. What a gift to see Allan shepherd this part of his flock through baptisms, communion, and even a wedding, all in one morning! And Elia, one of the first Free Burma Rangers, has long had a vision to see a health clinic that served the Talakone on both sides of the border. He was like a proud father watching the villagers tour the clinic built to serve them. When I put on my missions director hat, my heart swells with gratitude that the Lord has given us partners such as these to serve alongside.
