Profound Moments
Today felt like a day filled with profound moments! We started the day by meeting the band members from Arché, India’s first contemporary Hindi rock band. We attended their first concert last night where they debuted their first album. Here we learned more about a wing of Catalyst called Catalyst Creatives who’s goal is to support Christian artists who support social change. We watched as a local park filled with people; Muslims, Christians, and Hindu’s and watched in amazement how the band sang of our glorious God and His love for us through Jesus Christ. It was an amazing moment to watch, people enjoying good Hindi music and hearing Christ proclaimed. Arché did an fantastic job and we were grateful for the opportunity to encourage the work the Lord is doing though them.
What we didn’t know was that several of the band members are also heavily involved with Youth Light (India’s Young Life). These band members regularly meet with boys from Delhi where they have club, and tell them stories from the Old Testament. Here in Delhi, YL has an incredible outreach to the 
young muslim community where they meet kids where they are at and show them Jesus’ love by their actions, earning the right to be heard. We traveled 1.5 hours by metro, and a fun and exciting rickshaw ride through Delhi to land at an ally way where we traveled past cows, goats, and all sorts of cart vendors to reach the little hallway that let to where they meet. We had a time to interact with the YL boys, play guitar. tell our stories and hear theirs. It was a living testimony at how God actively pursues us right where we are at. What a blessing to see how active and alive God is here in Delhi through YL and Catalyst.
