Jesus is Our Everything

James 1 says, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

This is about as apt a summary of our time in Mexico as you could ask for. Through a deluge of rain, we pressed on in joy and found Jesus providing what we needed. During our evening talks I shared how Jesus is our everything, so indeed we lack nothing in him! Through the rain and muck, 41 men found fellowship, service, and joy. Most importantly, many men (not to mention the families we worked with) got a glimpse of Jesus in all this.
