Pray for Men’s Mexico Team
Every year I’ve gone to Mexico with some of the men of Chapel Hill, I’ve heard guys remark on how the trip serves as a jump start to their spiritual lives. The sense of community, serving people, and the time spent with Jesus make for an authentically special time. It draws men back year after year. But for most men, the challenge of the Men’s Mexico trip is the reentry, not the trip itself. How does a guy capture all of the good things of this trip and see it lived out in the midst of “real” life? If you have a moment, pray for these men. Pray that God gives them wisdom and courage to be a follower of Jesus in the way they live their whole lives, not just for a few days in Mexico. Pray that the foundations they lay this weekend will be spiritual ones, not just the foundations they lay for families in need. Pray for authenticity and community amongst brothers that lasts. Pray, most of all, that we encounter Jesus in the way we need to this weekend in sunny Tijuana.
