Thailand Team Returns
Dear friends & family,
Our time at the House of Blessing has come to an end. Some of the team are still traveling, but the bulk of us are back at work this morning and beginning the process of integrating our “life there” and our “life here.”
Our experiences were meaningful, plentiful, and Spirit-filled. Most of us had never befriended a former convict who unjustly served 25 years in prison. Or understood the hope that comes from singing “How Great Thou Art” or “Seek Ye First” with women from a dozen countries in a prison church. Or how our hearts could be broken, yet somehow expanded, to hold the pain of a mother being separated from her child, or a refugee who does not know where they will get their next meal.
We would like to extend a special invitation for you to join us at a casual…
Report and Celebration
Thailand Prison Ministry Go Team
Sunday, February 28th, from 12:30-2:00
The Gathering Place at Chapel Hill
Light snacks will be provided and the team will show a brief slide show and share some stories from the trip.
Know that your prayers were both felt and necessary. Each day seemed to carry the activity and emotion of three days! Overall, the team stayed healthy and was able to stay fully present to all that the Lord was doing in, with, and through us. We are very grateful for the home team that helped make the trip possible and we can’t wait to share more.
Looking forward to connecting in the days and weeks ahead!
Nikki, for the team
