A Thanksgiving message from Pastor Mark

Happy Thanksgiving, my Sweetheart Church!

Among the things that I suspect we will give thanks for this week is that 2020 is about to end! All of us would offer up a hearty “Amen” to that, I’m sure. BUT…if we pause even a moment, every one of us will be able to produce a long list of blessings from this last year, some even resulting from COVID!

I’m going to preach a Thanksgiving message called “Attitude or Platitude of Gratitude.” I am excited to share this with you, in part because I believe that one of the greatest weapons we possess to battle against despair or hopelessness is…prayerful, intentional thanksgiving!

So, would you join me this Wednesday night at 7:00 pm for our Thanksgiving Eve Communion service in the Sanctuary? We will worship, we will share, we will laugh, and we will remember the goodness of God. AND…I will have a wonderful, first-ever surprise to share with you!
