GIVE
FAITHFUL GENEROSITY
Giving (tithes and offerings) is a key part of our lives as believers. It’s an act of worship, and an opportunity to remember that God provides for all our needs. We give our finances, resources, and time back to the Giver of all good things. We respond to God’s faithfulness to us, and demonstrate to one another trust that he is a God who provides. We want to be a generous people that cares for our community, shares the gospel, and prepares the next generation to be on mission for Jesus Christ.
Every dollar you give impacts the bottom line of seeing other peoples’ lives changed. In fact, 10 percent of our annual general budget goes directly to spreading the gospel in our neighborhoods, our city, and across the globe. And another 15 percent goes to our Beyond These Walls fund to love our neighbors, make disciples, and raise up and send leaders.
You can view your giving statements online through Chapel Hill Connect.

- Legacy Planning
- “Legacy Estate Planning” is deciding how your assets and liabilities will be handled after you die or become incapacitated and who can make decisions for you or your “estate” according to your wishes. It’s a way to ensure your wishes are carried out and things are distributed smoothly to your beneficiaries. For example, upon your death, Chapel Hill or a charity might receive a percentage of your estate value or be the beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Estate planning is something everyone should do. We have partnered with biblically based estate planning specialists to provide free comprehensive estate planning assistance tailored to the needs of Chapel Hill members. To learn more, visit the link below or email our Chief Operating Officer, Steve Maxwell.
