Serve on Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday is one of the biggest church-going days of the year. Of course, Christians gather to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but have you ever thought about the fact that many people come to church on Easter who haven’t been in a very long time…or ever? You can be a part of the Easter Sunday Launch Team March 31 to welcome, lead worship, care for little ones, and show hospitality to our guests! Here are ways you can help:
- INVITE: invite someone to our Easter services by sharing this web page or picking up one of the beautiful Easter postcards at church this Sunday.
- GREET: serve as a greeter for Easter by welcoming people to church at the 8:30, 10:00, or 11:30 am services and helping take the offering. Email Sue Lott.
- PROVIDE CHILDCARE: Nursery/Preschool assistant openings for those who have cleared our digital background check and completed online safety training. 11:30 am: 5 spots. Middle and high school students may volunteer; families may serve together. Email Kim Hagey.
- SING: lead worship in the classic or modern choirs for Easter. Contact Pastor Gunnar Tesdahl.
- PARKING LOT: help drivers find their spots and help people cross the road. 9:15-10:15 am: 5 spots; 10:45-11:45 am: 5 spots. Please email both Julie Hardin and Jordan Reich.
- PROVIDE SECURITY: help keep worshippers safe. 8:00-9:30 am: 4 spots; 9:30-11:00 am: 4 spots; 11:00-12:15 pm: 4 spots. Email Julie Hardin.
