Best. Weekend. Ever.

The Alpha Weekend is coming! Please pray for our Alpha guests to experience the love of God and life-changing power of the Holy Spirit during our time together. We’ve been so excited to see each one of them making steps forward in their faith journey this Alpha season, and have no doubt that a weekend spent soaking in Scriptures, prayer, worship and Jesus-fueled community will spur them on even more.
Our weekend will have a “new life” theme, flavored with Spring flowers, seed packets, watering cans and gratitude for our new identity in Christ. This is a joyous, celebratory moment in the lives of our Alpha guests, pausing to look back on the growth that has occurred so far, entering into present circumstances and seeking God in prayer for their needs and requests, and looking forward to a bright future with Christ in their lives. We will spend the Saturday of our retreat learning about the Holy Spirit, reading the Bible together for the first time, and sharing our thoughts, questions and experiences with one another. It’s always such a special time and a privilege to share this extended time together.
Do you remember what it was like when you were just starting out on your journey of faith? Did you have someone significant who walked alongside you? Who was it who helped you learn to read the Bible? Invited you to start attending church? Each one of our Alpha guests has a story and I’m so grateful for each one of you who invited them to attend and experience community, belonging and spiritual growth at Alpha. Thank you for your significant role in reaching others with the gospel. We couldn’t do this without you!
