Serve with Our Security Team

Keeping Chapel Hill safe is one of our top priorities. Whether it’s a Sunday morning, weekday evening, or a special event, anytime we have people coming into our building we want them to have a team they can rely on should an emergency arise. When you join our Security Team, you will work with staff providing safety, hospitality and care for others visiting the church building and grounds. If you haven’t already started the process, you will be contacted to fill out a background check and take a Child Safety Training course online.

Time Commitment: 3.5 hours once a month, plus Special Events as needed.
Regular Weekly Schedule: Sunday mornings, 8:15 am-noon Tuesday evenings, 5:30-8:30 pm Wednesday evenings, 5:30-8:30 pm
Duties: A typical security shift involves walking the building and parking lot, and responding to emergencies. Training is provided!
