CORNERSTONES

A PLACE TO BUILD COMMUNITY

Adults 65+, we invite you to spend time with friends and make new ones at Cornerstones. Here you can come together once a month to enjoy a delicious meal and live entertainment. Many who attend feel this is one of the most important and valuable connection points in the church.

CONNECT

The monthly Cornerstones dinner and program is held the third Tuesday of every month (with a few exceptions) in the Gathering Place. Dinner takes place at 5:00 pm and the program starts at 6:00 pm. Cost to attend each month’s program is $10. In order to ensure enough food for everyone, you must register one week prior to the program. To learn more about Cornerstones and get on the mailing list, email Janelle Howard.

We also have Get Out & Get Active Days once or twice a month, 2:00-4:00 pm in the Gathering Place, where you can drop in for a fun time of socializing, games, coffee, and snacks.

LifeGroups (small groups for adults) are also an important way to connect with one another, experience community in a more intimate way, grow in faith, and even serve together. If you would like to connect with a LifeGroup, we encourage you to find one that works for you!

Dean Neel serves as the Minister to Seniors at Chapel Hill Church. His passion is to foster community among Chapel Hill’s older adults and reach out to older adults in the surrounding area who are disconnected from a church family.
