EASTER
HE IS RISEN! CELEBRATE WITH US!
Easter is the most important Christian holy day and celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. It is considered the foundation of the Christian faith and represents hope, new life, and redemption.
Easter at Chapel Hill Church is an exciting time filled with joy and hope! We hope you’ll choose to join us in celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ! We look forward to welcoming you at any of our three in-person and online services on Sunday, March 31, 2024.
At 8:30 am, our service has a classic feel, with organ, bells, choir, and orchestra. Our 10:00 and 11:30 am services have a modern feel with a contemporary band.
Childcare is available for babies through PreK at all three services and children in kindergarten and older attend the worship services with their family.
Services will also be live-streamed on YouTube.
The HeBrews Coffee Shop will be open from 8:00 am-noon, serving delicious Coffee Oasis coffee.

HOLY WEEK
MAUNDY THURSDAY COMMUNION SERVICE
Thurs, March 28, 6:30 pm, in person and on YouTube
“Maundy” comes from a Latin word that means “command”, referring to Jesus’ command to his disciples to love and serve one another, which he demonstrated by washing their feet during the Last Supper. Reflect on the final hours of Jesus’ life with songs of worship, a message, and the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. Childcare not available; families worship together.
GOOD FRIDAY ONLINE
Fri, March 29, 6:00, 9:00 am, noon, 3:00, 6:00 pm, YouTube
Good Friday is called “good” not because it is joyous or happy, but rather the word “good” is derived from an older definition that meant “holy” or “pious.” In another sense, we call Friday “good” because Sunday is coming! Join us this Good Friday as we take time throughout the day to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for our salvation. This year, join us at 6:00 am, 9:00 am, noon, and 3:00 pm online and be guided through prayer as we prepare our hearts. At 6:00 pm, join us for a short online family service with music and an encouraging message from Pastor Mark Toone.
HOLY SATURDAY/EASTER PRAYER WALK
Sat, March 30, 2:00 pm, outside Chapel Hill Church
Join us for an Easter prayer walk in the Chapel Hill parking lot (meet at Door D). Rain or shine, we’ll pray for people to come to worship and experience the saving power of Jesus Christ.
