Prayer Walk for Refugees and Immigrants

As we seek God's heart for our immigrant neighbors, we recognize that political solutions alone are not enough. Our response to the complexities of immigration must be in prayer to the God over all nations and authorities, whose Kingdom knows no borders. We invite you to be part of Christ's work of restoration in our backyard and world with our local outreach partner World Relief Western WA. Join us for a prayer walk on Flag Day, Friday June 14, 12:30-2:00 pm beginning at Melanie Jan LaPlant Dressel Park (1147 Dock St., Thea Foss Waterway, Tacoma; ample paid parking less than $5) and praying at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, where asylum seekers await legal status.
