Faith & Finances Encourager Training Session

We all need encouragement sometimes. If you have experienced that, here’s an opportunity to encourage someone else as an ally for a participant in the upcoming Faith & Finances class beginning in September. 

Faith & Finances is a financial education ministry for people who a) are just starting out learning how to manage money; b) don't have a lot of extra money to spare; c) want to overcome financial obstacles; d) want to save more and pay off debt.

Training for new allies is Sunday, September 8, noon in the third-floor conference room (also called the "Board Room"). Lunch will be provided. Each participant is paired with an ally to encourage the participant along the 10-week journey. To be an ally, you just need to attend the class with the participant and maybe send a text or call them during the week. The trained facilitators do the instructing. Here’s a note from someone who took the class: “The caring and support I received was above and beyond what I expected!”
