Welcome RV Ministry

Join our local outreach partner World Relief Western WA and a team of Chapel Hill volunteers as we welcome people who were recently granted asylum in the United States. A well-stocked Welcome RV is parked right outside the NW Immigration Detention Center ready to help. Two shifts are available: 2:00-5:00 pm and 4:00-7:00 pm. Chapel Hill volunteers will serve together on the third Friday of each month. You can help with practical care, aiding communication and computer use, and transportation. No foreign language ability is required but it is definitely welcomed. The most important volunteer quality is to welcome and show the love of Christ to vulnerable people.
